He was predeceased by: his parents, William "Bill" Norton and Ilene Norton; his brothers, Don, Billy and Denny; and his grandson Aiden.

He is survived by: his wife Carol Larsen; his children, Mark, Ryan and Kerri; his grandchildren, John, Hunter, Hannah, Kobe (Alicia), Jackson, Cooper, Mavryk, Marshall and Harlow; and his sister Sandra Brunscheen.
