She was predeceased by: her parents, Marion C. Smith and Dorothy Smith (Gaston); her former husbands, Arthur Van Patten Jr. and Henry Joseph Kimball Jr.; her children, Arthur J., Catherine Van Patten and Tracy McLaud (Kimball); her stepsons, Daniel and Douglas Kimball; and her siblings, Marjorie, Martha, Sarah, William, Ruth, Earl, Rhoda and Donald.
She is survived by: her husband Kermit Postier of Cedar Rapids; her children, Robin Albers (Van Patten) and Michael Kimball of Cedar Rapids; and her stepchildren, Mindy Hutchison (Brandt) of Hobbs, NM, Anette Shryer (Greg) of Springfield, MO, Janelle Miller (Mike) of McPherson, KS, Suzanne Edwards (Greg) and Stacy Cannoy (Mike) of Marion. She is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
