The memory of Sharon Byrne of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, who passed away on April 6, 2025 at the age of 83, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Fosdick and Betty Fosdick; and her brother Dickie Fosdick. She is survived by: her husband John "Jack" Byrne; her children, Lisa Ogden (John), Rick Byrne (Sarah), Beth Muller (Kurt), Laurie Robinson, Jamie Byrne (Robin) and Katie Barnes (Bill); and her sisters, Linda Abbott and Margaret. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the All Saints Catholic Church (720 29th St SE #2, Cedar Rapids, IA 52403). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to All Saints Catholic Church in Cedar Rapids.
