He is survived by: his wife Carrie Harmening of Cedar Rapids; his children, Lucas Harmening of Waterloo, Iowa, Lillian "Lily" Harmening of Cedar Rapids and Ella Harmening of Cedar Rapids; his father Steven Harmening of Marion; his sisters, Lisa Kellison (Michael) of Marion, Susan Harmening (Adrian Gomez) of Lake Linganore and Sheryl Swanson (Michael) of Marion; his nieces, Jenny Levelle (Jason) of Cedar Rapids, Kathleen Harmening-Gomez of Lake Linganore and Elizabeth Swanson of Marion; his nephew Steven Harmening-Gomez of Lake Linganore; and his pets, Jake and Moose.
