She was predeceased by: her husband Raymond Darling; her son Steve; her grandson Lucas; her sister Dorothy Newport; and her parents, William Hemmer and Mary Vejda Hemmer.

She is survived by: her son Gary Darling (Julie Fox) of Ralston, NE; and her great grandchild Wren Moyer. She is also survived by 3 other great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; and many nieces and nephews.
