He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Knight and Rose Knight (Johnson); his wife Esther Knight; his sister JoAnne Hughes; and his stepson Chuck Easterday.
He is survived by: his children, Randy Knight of Hiawatha, Iowa and Robyne Bartlett (Don) of Anamosa, Iowa; his stepchildren, Ace Moore (Jonell) of Monmouth and Misty Mantor (Jim) of Des Moines; and his brother Robert Knight of Cedar Rapids.
