We are sad to announce that on February 4, 2025, at the age of 86, Ronald Dale Burns of Cedar Rapids, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Alviena Martin; his son Ronald Burns (Billy); his granddaughter Daphne; his sister Marlys Nelson; and his parents, Merle Burns and Doris Smith Burns.
He is survived by: his children, Ray Burns of Cedar Rapids and Tammy Horak of Walford; his grandchildren, Kasi Hayes and Alison Horak; his great grandchildren, Lennox and Kohen Becker; and his siblings, Allan Burns and Darlene Faught.
Visitation will be held on Monday, April 28th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Teahen Funeral Home (3100 F Ave NW, Cedar Rapids, IA 52405). A celebration of life will be held on Monday, April 28th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
