It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Romondus Cooper of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, born in Waterloo, Iowa, who passed away on June 5, 2024, at the age of 44, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Smith and April Arnold Smith. He is survived by: his sons, Moriyandus Cooper of Cedar Rapids and Corde Cooper of Cedar Rapids; his siblings, William Smith (Francis), Orlando Cooper (Michelle), Martavis Smith and Tavonjia Denise Hill of Waterloo; and his cousin Jean Paul Cooper. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews and cousins.
A memorial fund has been established for his sons at Veridian Credit Union.
