He was predeceased by: his parents, Llewellyn Smith and Helen Marie Smith (Sadler); his wife Glennys Ann Wendel; and his siblings, Delbert Smith and Carol Jean Smith.
He is survived by: his children, Kathleen Petersen (Leo), Cynthia Kriegermeier (Rick), Allan Smith (Shirley) and Judith Urbanek. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; two great great-grandchildren.
