He was predeceased by: his wife Cynthia Ann; his parents, Edward Tillman and Catherine Tillman; his siblings, Dorothy Junk (Romanus), Marcellus Tillman (Gertrude), John Tillman (Elizabeth), Margerite Stammeyer (Donald), Herbert Tillman (Elizabeth), Alvera Kleve (Marvin), Merle Tillman (Pamela) and Joseph Tillman; his niece Susan Stammeyer; and his nephew Warren Massman.
He is survived by: his sister Phyllis Massman of West Union, IA; his children, Mark Tillman (Mary Lou) of Waucoma, IA, Patty Johnson (Lowell) of Madison, WI and Edward Tillman (Suzanne) of Roseville, MN; his grandchildren, Laura Niquette, Kristin Niquette, Grace Tillman and Adam Tillman; and his stepgrandchildren, Tina Schmidt Cahoy, Janet Schmidt Snyder, Denise Schmidt and Donald Schmidt.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 16th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Community Center (2351 Co Rd B32, Fort Atkinson, IA 52144). A burial will be held on Saturday, May 17th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Joint Funeral Services.
