With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert Burtis of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, who passed away on February 1, 2024 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edmund Burtis and Marie Burtis (Elbert); his wife Barbara Burtis; and his sons, Colin Burtis and Brian Burtis.
He is survived by: his children, Karen Issa, Craig Burtis and David Burtis (Jenny); his grandchildren, Leila Issa, Deana Issa, Aliyah Burtis, Meghan Burtis, Mahmoud Issa and Zachariah Issa; and his great grandchildren, Selena Shehadeh, Eliana Shehadeh, Daniella Khallouf, Sophia Dyab, Juliet Dyab, Adam Issa and Ameer Issa.
