He was predeceased by: his parents, John MacTaggart and Kathleen MacTaggart (Altmaier); and his siblings, Philip MacTaggart and Sylvia Odgers. He is survived by: his wife Vicky MacTaggart; his children, Erin Kopplin and Scott MacTaggart; his grandchildren, Maxwell Kopplin, Forsythia, Serena MacTaggart and Danni Kopplin; and his children-in-law, Dan Kopplin and LeeAnn Jones.
