He was predeceased by: his siblings, Larry Rice and Lois Jean. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Hayes; his children, Randy Mason of Davenport, Shelley Lawson of Cedar Rapids and Laura Kelley (Brent) of Marion; and his brothers, David Hayes (Kim) of Lisbon and Don Hayes of Cedar Rapids. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Cr Sanctuary Church (912 18th Ave SW, Cedar Rapids, IA 52404).
