He was predeceased by: his wife Frances; his children, Molly Quetsch-Bales and John Richard Quetsch; and his parents, Gertrude Quetsch (Shea) and Leonard Quetsch.
He is survived by: his children, Mary Hansen (Tom) of Cedar Rapids, Kathleen Edwards (Tom) of Eau Claire, WI and Joseph Quetsch (Mary Manulik) of Columbia, MO; and his grandchildren, Conor, Sheala, Patrick Hansen, Kate, Brian Edwards, Matthew, Timothy, Elizabeth Quetsch, Shaun, Heather Bales and Joseph Quetsch Bales.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Richard's honor may be made to All Saints Catholic Church or to Four Oaks Family and Children's Services.
