In the sacred silence of farewell, Richard is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Richard's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley M. English; his children, Linda Kay English-Keeler (Bob), Richard Paul "Dick" English, Jr. (Anita), Robert Charles "Bobby" English (Jennifer), Cynthia Marie "Cyndy" English (Don) and Tracy Allen English (Becca); and his friend John Willmsen. He is also survived by great-grandchildren.
A memorial service was held on Friday, April 18th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Cedar Memorial Chapel of Memories, Cedar (4200 1st Ave NE, Cedar Rapids, IA 52402).
