She was predeceased by: her husbands, Hugh Kotowske and George Wortman; her siblings, Aloysia Kasel, Colette Oyen, Laura Ann Gerner, Marc and Ervin Gerner; and her parents, Anthony Gerner and Theresa Schmidt Gerner.
She is survived by: her children, James (Kathryn) of Oxford, Judith Tieber (Anthony) of Bonita, CA, Susan Stepanek (Jeffrey) of North Liberty and Gary (Beverly) of Cedar Rapids; her grandchildren, Craig (Beth), Janel (Dennis), Sandra, Brian, Zachary (Lindsey) and Kent (Susan); and her sister-in-law Rita Gerner of Garber. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren.
