He is survived by: his wife Kandace Garner of Cedar Rapids; his children, Karey Dirks (Brian) of Atkins, Iowa and Quintin Garner (Mary) of Cedar Rapids; his grandchildren, Kayley of Cedar Rapids, Jacob of Cedar Rapids, Kate Dirks of Cedar Rapids, Gabe of Cedar Rapids and Sam Garner of Cedar Rapids; his siblings, Sue Huber (Bob) of Cedar Falls, Iowa and Tim Garner (Heather Sanders) of Ames, Iowa; and his sisters-in-law, Gail Loeffler (Mark) of Cedar Rapids and Lisa Panek (John) of Polk City, Iowa. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
