She was predeceased by: her parents, Warren Selm and Mildred De Selm (Beach); her husband Roland Hiemstra; her children, Craig Hiemstra and Roxanne Schappert; and her sister Deb Mattix.
She is survived by: her children, Renee (Kurt Meyer) of Cedar Rapids, IA and Rocky Hiemstra (Julie) of Cedar Rapids, IA; her grandchildren, Blaine, Dallas, Leah Hiemstra, Ashley, Blake, Cole Murdock, Nichole Schappert, Ryan, Brad (Liz) and Tracy Hiemstra; her great grandchildren, Kingston, Skyler, Grace, Wesley, Declan, Ava and Zion; and her sister Connie Case of Marietta, GA..
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to the Dennis and Donna Oldolf Hospice House of Mercy.
