She was predeceased by: her parents, Matthew (Rosie) and Mary; her grandmother Sejnoha Ruzicka; her husband Jerry Beer; her siblings, Ronnie Ruzicka and Mary Lou Smejkal; her nephew Randi Ruzicka; and her in-laws, Arleen, Quentin Collins, Raymond and Marvin Beer.
She is survived by: her children, Jeanne (James Kewley), Dr. Steven (Terra Beer) and Dr. Bradley (Janette Beer); her grandchildren, Crossland, Simon, Eliott, Meredith, Lydia, Anna and Olivia Beer; her brothers, Bob Ruzicka (Theresa), Mike Ruzicka (Mary Henderson) and Denny Ruzicka (Karan); and her siblings-in-law, Barb Ruzicka, Alan Smejkal (Sybil Merfeld), June Beer and Jean Beer.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to St. Jude's Hospital, the ASPCA, or St. Wenceslaus Church.
