Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Pamela Bloomquist of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, born in Stratford, Iowa, who passed away at the age of 92, on August 5, 2023. She was predeceased by: her parents, Clifford Neese and Mable Neese (Crouse); her husband Charles Bloomquist (Red); her granddaughter Katey'Bug'Lyn Bloomquist; her parents-in-law, Arnold and Mabel Bloomquist (Olson); her brother Paul Neese; and her siblings-in-law, Milford Bloomquist, Dick Reed, Leonard Grimm, Lennie Bloomquist and Phyllis Reed.

She is survived by: her caregiver West; her children, Curtis Bloomquist (Gale) of Hiawatha, IA and Gayle Sjoerdsma of Colorado Springs, Colorado; her grandchild Stacey Glew (Mitch) of Vinton, IA; her children, Lynnea Gibbs (Jared) of Issaquah, Washington, Wesley Sjoerdsma (Sidney) of Colorado Springs, Colorado. and Caleb Sjoerdsma (Abby) of Colorado Springs, Colorado.; her great grandchildren, Meadow and Maddox Glew; her sister Kathryn Reed; her siblings-in-law, Nancy Neese, Sharon Bloomquist, Mary Bloomquist, Maddy Bloomquist, Joann Grimm, Harry, Dennis and Keith Bloomquist; and also Max Rainey. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Memorials may be made to Hiawatha Care Center and Cedar Valley Bible church in memory of Pamela.
