With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Orlin Tweedt of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, who passed away on February 8, 2024 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Burney and Clara Tweedt (Lee); and his siblings, Norman, Kenneth, Donald, Burnie, Gladys Barnes, Buelah Allen, Mildred Brown and Wilma Shiery.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Glassel; his sons, Donald Lee Tweedt of Ames and Robert Clare Tweedt (Tina) of Ankeny; his grandchildren, Aaron (Lindsay) of Ankeny, Zachary (Sydney Coussens) of Ankeny, Jessica of Ankeny and Grace of Madison, Wisconsin; his great grandchild Guinevere of Ankeny; and his sister Frances Olson of Houston, Texas. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews, great and great-great nieces, and nephews.
