It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Oliver Thomas Coon of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, who passed away on December 9, 2024, at the age of 24, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parent Kerrie Derby; his grandmother Donna Coon; and his friend Larry Berandt. He is survived by: his father Eric Coon (Candace); his son Colton JD Coon; his siblings, Kyle Coon (Makayla), Lucas Coon (Miranda), Parker Coon, Dylan Thomas, Gage (Delaney) of Nebraska, Lexis of Nebraska and Vinnie of Nebraska; and also Maegan Slaymaker.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be in the care of Eric Coon.
