He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman Robinson and Mary Frances Robinson (Kane); his son Jeffrey "Jake" Robinson; and his sister Eileen Corcoran Smith. He is survived by: his wife Coral Robinson of Cedar Rapids; his children, Thomas Robinson (Alicia) of Marion, Brett Robinson (Gina) of Decorah and Lisa Olson (Mark) of Oelwein; his daughter-in-law Carolyn Pearson of Decorah; his grandchildren, Courtney Alstat (Cody), Megan Robinson, Lincoln Robinson, Skye Robinson, Zachary Robinson, Tia Olson and Nathaniel Olson; his great grandchildren, Abigail Alstat and Ayden Alstat; and his siblings, Jeanne Hermsen of Independence, Sharon Robinson (Jim Nolan) of Oelwein, Randy Robinson (Susie) of Fairbank and Denise Robinson of Boone. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Jamison-Schmitz Funeral Home (221 N Frederick Ave, Oelwein, IA 50662). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church (628 S Frederick Ave, Oelwein, IA 50662).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family.
