She was predeceased by: her husband Marion Borders; her son Steven Borders; her grandchildren, Christopher Borders and Stephanie Corpstein; her brother Warren Litchkey (Maxine); and her parents, Frederick Hoffman and Edith Marolf Hoffman.
She is survived by: her daughters, Kay Nickel (Ronald) of Mt. Pleasant, SC and Mary Sue Baillargeon of Bernard; her grandchildren, Timothy Nickel of Ridgeville, SC, Daniel Borders of Iowa City, Gabriel Baillargeon of Vail, CO and Elisabeth Hyman (Matthew) of Summerville, SC; and her great grandchildren, Nathan Mitchum of Summerville, SC and Jakob Nickel of Ridgeville, SC. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
