Nellie Saunders Obituary
We are sad to announce that on July 21, 2024, at the age of 77, Nellie Saunders of Cedar Rapids, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Houtzager and Levina Houtzager (DeHamer); her son-in-law Mark Bruner; and her brothers-in-law, Thomas Busenbark and Donald Fiebelkorn.
She is survived by: her husband Tom Saunders; her children, Dave Hunter (Toni) and Misty Bruner; her grandchildren, Emily Stonebraker (Justin), Ryan Burns (Rikki), Alex Hunter (Courtney), Macen Ginther, Jasmine Hansen, Jacoby Hess and Seth Bruner; her sisters, Louise Bruce (Bill) and Wilma Busenbark; and her pet Emma. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society in Nellie's honor.
