It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Neil Weyland of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, born in Gilbertville, Iowa, who passed away on August 6, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin Weyland and Hazel Weyland (Klein); his spouse Beverly; his siblings, Gary Weyland and Carolyn Jussely; his siblings-in-law, Donna Weyland, Roberta Pedrick, Joe Jussely, John Culbert, Hugh Pedrick and Tom Swyers; and his nieces and nephews, Michael Martin Weyland, Joseph Jussely, Sue Nagle and Lisa Marie Clubb.
He is survived by: his children, Terri Henecke (Greg), Kathy McCauley (Bill), Al Weyland (Janice) of Toddville, Becca English (Tracy) and Carmen McKee (Brett); his siblings, Beth Swyers of Cedar Rapids, Beverly Culbert of Waterloo and David Weyland (Cindy) of Gilbertville; his close friend Scott Carnes; and his grandchildren, Hillary Lippincott, Blake Anderson, Chloe Dunn, Spencer Weyland, Gabby Weyland, Paul J. Potts and Aiden English. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
