He was predeceased by: his parents, Myron Pence and Darline Pence Burlingham (Tharp); his stepfather Chuck Burlingham; his brother Rocky Pence; his niece Prudence Johnston; his nephew Seth Carnicle; and his father-in-law George Krotz (Louise).
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Krotz; his children, Shelly Pence, Mike Pence (Debra) and Mark Pence (Debbie); his grandchildren, Brittany Balde (Umaru), Brandon Pence (Alexandra), Brooke Pence (Rachel) and Emily Pence; his great grandchildren, Izzy, Sai Balde, Harpr, Benelli, Lakelyn Pence and Jamieson Pence; his sisters, Nancy Albert (Danny) and Becky Miller (Charlie); and his sister-in-law Karen Pence. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or the Oldorf Hospice House.
