Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Michael Marlin of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, born in Keokuk, Iowa, who passed away at the age of 81, on June 23, 2023. He was predeceased by: his sister-in-law Judy; his parents, John Marlin, Sr. and Dorothy Dawkins (Marlin); his stepfather Richard Dawkins; his siblings, Robert, John and Rose Marie Dinkleman; and his parents-in-law, Jim and Vivian Lockett.
He is survived by: his children, Jeffrey (Deb) and Kara; his siblings, Francis (Carol), Bill, Kathleen Church and Theresa Wheatly; his grandchildren, Austin Marlin, Aidan Hruska, Meghann Hruska and Taylor Marlin; his son Jeff; and his nephew Steve. He is also survived by his wife and soulmate, Nan, and his family and friends.
Memorials may be made to Camp Courageous of Iowa, Salvation Army, or Matthew 25 Ministries of Cincinnati, Ohio.
