He was predeceased by: his wife Bonnie Lea Sund; his grandson Shaun; his friends, Hal and Sharon Arntzen; and his significant other May.
He is survived by: his children, Terry Sund (Diana) of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Gene Sund (Kim) of Arlington, Tennessee and Troy (Tracy) of Prior Lake, Minnesota; his grandchildren, Jarin, Lara (Anthony), Michael (Lorena), Lauren, Austin, Calvin and Colton; and his great grandchildren, Kole, Landon, Maya, Bennett, Arilyn, Evangeline and Bella Jade.
