He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob Kropuenske and Mary Kropuenske (Kreutner); and his siblings, Ione Sundberg and Ralph Kropen. He is survived by: his wife Letha Snyder of Cedar Rapids; his children, Steve Kropuenske (Susan) of Camdenton, MO and Jodi Gordon (Craig) of St. Joseph, MO; and his grandchildren, Wendy Ware (Steven), Shannon McDonald (Matthew), Kelly McClintock (Brian), Stacy Glidewell (Jason) and Andrew Gordon (Carrie). He is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be directed to Trinity Lutheran School.
