With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Matthew Stephen Young of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 15, 2024 at the age of 53. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Matthew Stephen Young to pay them a last tribute.

He is survived by: his parents, Charles Young and Marcia Young; his wife Jennifer Kuster of Ernie's Pub; his children, Lily, Charlie and Griffin; his stepparents, Ed Rich and Cindy Young; and his siblings, Kristine Norem and Andrew Young (Desiree). He is also survived by his stepsiblings, nieces, nephews, and other loving family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established.
