She was predeceased by: her husband Robert Reu; her grandson Paxton Snively; her brothers, Rev. Louis Trzil and Jerome Trzil; and her parents, Louis Trzil and Georgia Nejdl Trzil.
She is survived by: her children, Lisa Snively (Mark) of Ashland, Janice Strand (Jody) of Toddville, Joseph Reu of Fairfax and Steve Reu (Pam Kean) of Monticello; her sister Rose Ann Trzil (S. F.); and her sister-in-law Phyillis Trzil of Marion. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild.
A vigil service was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Teahen Funeral Home (3100 F Ave NW, Cedar Rapids, IA 52405). Visitation was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 from 2:30 PM to 4:00 PM, on Monday, February 17th 2025 at 9:00 AM, from 2:30 PM to 4:00 PM and on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at 9:00 AM. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Jude Catholic Church (50 Edgewood Rd NW, Cedar Rapids, IA 52405).
