The memory of Mary Louise Wilharm of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, born in Colfax, Iowa, who passed away on February 20, 2025 at the age of 90, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Willard Wesley, Sr. and Elizabeth Helene Sally (Vardo); her husband Lyle James Wilharm; her son-in-law Terry Konicek; her siblings, Joanna Berkenbosch and Willard Sally, Jr.; her siblings-in-law, Howard Berkenbosch and Dorothy Sally; her nephew Dennis Berkenbosch; and her stepgranddaughter Sarah Wilharm.
She is survived by: her former husband Ronald Perin; her daughters, Lucinda Konicek (Brett Gagnon) of Newhall and Jennifer Anderson (Scott) of Des Moines; her stepchildren, Dr. Jeffrey D. Wilharm (Vicki) of Cedar Rapids, Clark J. Wilharm (Julie) of Waverly and Lennie Wilharm-Batson of Elkhart; and her brother Tom Sally of Ames. She is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church (1115 S 8th Ave E, Newton, IA 50208). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be designated to Sacred Heart Catholic Church or the Animal Rescue League of Iowa.
