We are sad to announce that on March 17, 2023, at the age of 82, Mary Ann Wright-Butts of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, born in Independence, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Leander Goebel and Gertrude Goebel (Berns); her husband Gary Butts; her brothers, James, Melvin and Ronald Goebel; and her brother-in-law Paul Sandman.
She is survived by: her former husband Richard Overmann; her daughters, Deb Schebler (Jeff) of Solon and Susan Webb (Steve) of Apple Valley, Minnesota; her grandchildren, Michelle Schebler, Scott Schebler, Kyle Webb (Kristen), Natalie Timm (Andy) and Trenton Webb (Amber Johnson); her great grandchildren, Hayley Webb and Evelynn Timm; her siblings, Janet Happel (Jerry) of Guttenberg, Carolyn Sandman of Dubuque and Edward Goebel (Kathy) of Fairfax, Iowa; and her sisters-in-law, Barb Goebel and Janet Wallenberg (Goebel).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to St. Croix Hospice, Strawberry Point, Iowa or St. Paul's United Methodist Church, Cedar Rapids.
