She was predeceased by: her parents, Jake DeHaan and Hattie DeHaan; her husband Al Gerritsen; her daughter Paula Uecker; her brother Alwin; her sister-in-law Phyllis DeHaan; and her nephew William DeHaan (Billy).
She is survived by: her children, Rad Gerritsen of Spencer and Laura Gehrls (Stew) of Cedar Rapids; her son-in-law Dave Steinbeck of Spencer; and her grandchildren, Chris Gehrls (Caroline) of Hiawatha, Jennifer Willoughby (Tom) of Urbandale, Chad Gehrls (Whitney) of Marion, Amy Forrette (Eric) of Sioux Rapids, Nick Gerritsen of St. Joseph, MN and Derek Gerritsen of Spencer. She is also survived by her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
