The memory of Marlene King of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, who passed away on November 16, 2024 at the age of 88, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her father Rolland W.; her husband Edward A. King; and her sisters, Beverly Peters, Lois Housenga and Cheryl Hesse.
She is survived by: her children, Rhonda King-Morrison (Darrell Morrison) of Cedar Rapids, Jyl King (Jeremy Greco) of Cedar Rapids and Blain King (Kristi) of Clarksville, TN; her grandchildren, Leanne Hernandez, Adam Leslie, Kelsey King and Caleb King; her great grandchild Josie Ambrose; her sister-in-law Betty King; and her pet Olivia Newton-John. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home (4200 1st Ave NE, Cedar Rapids, IA 52402). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Cedar Memorial Chapel of Memories.
