With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marlene K. Neuhaus of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, who passed away on January 14, 2024 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Gail Hanner and Edna Hanner (Sommerfelt); and her son-in-law Raymond Permiceo. She is survived by: her husband Chuck of Ludmila's Catholic Church; her children, Cathy Senum (Rick) of St. Paul Park, MN, Tina Permiceo of Henderson, NV and Matthew Neuhaus of Cedar Rapids; her grandchildren, Ashley Keel (Brandon), Mitchell Jensen, Nate Jensen, Nick McElwee and Adriana Permiceo; her stepgrandchildren, Jarod Senum and Rikka Wangsnes (Ryan); her great grandchildren, Caden Keel and Parker Keel; and her siblings, Darlene Hanner of Cedar Rapids, John Hanner of Cedar Rapids, Gail Jr. Hanner (Martha) of Edgar Springs, MO and Diane Thompson (Steve) of Cedar Rapids.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Lending Closet at Grace Episcopal Church in Cedar Rapids or the Cedar Valley Humane Society in Marlene's name.
