We bid farewell to Mark Dougherty of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, born in Clarion, Iowa, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on December 11, 2024 at the age of 54. Mark touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Russ, Maxine Dougherty, Raymond and Margaret Deimerly; and his nephew Vincent Bowers.
He is survived by: his wife Tammy; his children, Jake, Claire and Max; his parents, Denny Dougherty and Joan Dougherty; his brothers, Phil Dougherty (Christine), Brad Dougherty (Missy) and Eric (Jayme Dougherty); and his in-laws, Larry, Judy Bowers, Jenny Bowers, Ben Bowers (Kristi) and Jay Bowers (Ella). He is also survived by many nephews and nieces.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 15th 2024 from 1:30 PM to 5:00 PM, on Monday, December 16th 2024 at 9:00 AM and from 1:30 PM to 5:00 PM. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the All Saints Catholic Church (720 29th St SE, Cedar Rapids, IA 52403). A burial was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 at the Oak Shade Cemetery.
