He was predeceased by: his parents, Billy Newlon and Elaine Newlon (Nelson); and his brother Chuck Newlon. He is survived by: his children, Misty Newlon of Cedar Rapids, Mitch Newlon (Kendra Fuller) of Cedar Rapids, Tiffany Newlon of Cedar Rapids, Brandy Newlon of Cedar Rapids and Angel Jeffrey (Sam) of Cedar Rapids; his grandchildren, Logen, Tysen, Ciera, Leaha and Mason; and his siblings, Elvin Newlon of Cedar Rapids, Jenny Hoff of Cedar Rapids and Carrie Smith of Cedar Rapids.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service (520 Wilson Ave SW, Cedar Rapids, IA 52404). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at the Calendar Linwood Cemetery-Cedar Rapids (520 Wilson Ave SW, Cedar Rapids, IA 52404).
