She was predeceased by: her former husband LaVern Hamlin; her husband Raymond McFate; her siblings, Mort Ockenfels (Marceyne), Dick Ockenfels, Therese and Carolyn Dohrer (Mert); her siblings-in-law, Mary Ockenfels, Robert Storjohann, Ken Gooding and Bud Beadle; her son-in-law Skip Peterson; and her parents, John Ockenfels and Lillian Delaney Ockenfels.
She is survived by: her children, Janet Teahen (Peter) of Robins and Robert Hamlin (Laura) of Olathe, KS; her grandchildren, Spencer Wilhelm of Hiawatha, Olivia of Olathe, KS, Rachel of Olathe, KS and Matthew Hamlin of Olathe, KS; her siblings, Rose Mary Beadle of Cedar Rapids, Marilyn Gooding of Iowa Falls, Virginia Storjohann (Neil Scarlett) of Centennial, CO and Larry Ockenfels of Swisher; her children, Judy Peterson of Marion and Ron McFate of Eldridge; and her sister-in-law Betty Ockenfels.
Instead of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family for an established memorial fund.
