With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Marilyn Scott of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 27, 2024 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her siblings, Eleanor Heskje, Mary Smith, James and Richard Heskje; and her parents, Thelman Heskje and Anna Gatens Heskje.
She is survived by: her children, Marsha Sabotta (Paul) of Cedar Rapids, Brian Scott (Karen) of Cedar Rapids, Brad Scott (Jean) of Cedar Rapids, Michael Scott (Susan) of Cedar Rapids, Jenine Anderson (Mark) of Eden Prairie, MN and Karen Harapat (Mark) of Ely; and her former husband Robert Scott. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren.
Instead of flowers, memorials may be directed to the St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, TN.
