It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marilyn Philipp of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, who passed away on April 13, 2025, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Marilyn Philipp to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Max Morgan and Mabel Morgan; her husband Clement J. Philipp of Patrick's Church; her son Clement Michael Philipp; her daughter-in-law Shirley Philipp; and her brother James Morgan.
She is survived by: her children, John (Jodi Philipp), Timothy Philipp of Solon, Lynn (Dan Feuerbach), Morgan (Phiona Philipp), Todd (Jody Philipp) and Sean Philipp (Shawn McDonnell); her daughter-in-law Janice Philipp of Ely; her brother Wallace; and her sister-in-law Sirgute Morgan of Sacramento. She is also survived by twenty-four grandchildren, twenty-seven great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
A memorial service was held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Ludmila Catholic Church (211 21st Ave SW, Cedar Rapids, IA 52404).
