It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marcia Louise Smith of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, who passed away on January 23, 2025, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Marcia Louise had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Marcia Louise may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Smith and Mary Smith (Kulp); her husband Kenneth Eugene Winslow; and her sister-in-law Mary Smith. She is survived by: her siblings, Mike Smith, Patty Zahina and Kevin Smith (Barbara); her stepson Steve Winslow (Kim); her stepgrandchildren, Brittany, Erica and Austin; and her stepgreat-grandchildren, Noah and Quinley. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews; and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service (3855 Katz Dr, Marion, IA 52302).
