It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lyle Edward Jensen of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, born in Bayard, Iowa, who passed away on April 1, 2024, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Delores Dammann; his father Axel Jensen; his sister Darlene; his daughter Carol Jean Jensen; his daughter-in-law Lisa Jensen; his brother-in-law Herbert Dammann; his brothers, Donald (Judy Dammann) and Rein Rudnick; and his mother Edith Rudolph Jensen.
He is survived by: his children, Paul Jensen (Rose Ann) of The Villages, FL, Keith Jensen and Michelle Jungjohann (Dan) of Cedar Rapids; his grandchildren, Eric Jensen of Grimes, Dustin Miller (Ann) of Cedar Rapids, Kendra Jungjohann (Dion) of Cedar Rapids and Amber Davidson (Josh) of Cedar Rapids; his great grandchildren, Ethan, Reign, Zayla, Ahmondae, Brooklyn, Grayson, Legend and Oliver; and his sister-in-law Evelyn Dammann of Overland Park, KS. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Instead of flowers, memorials may be directed to First Lutheran Church.
