He is survived by: his wife Mary; his children, Michael Roman (Tom Atkins), Kathy Etringer (Jeff) and Michele Haakma (Ron); his grandchildren, Melissa Hewitt (Ernesto Martinez Rivera), Jason Hewitt, Sarah Hickie (Bryant) and John Etringer; his great grandchildren, Hailey, James and Logan; his siblings, George Roman (Cecilia) and Helen Blietz (Roger); and his brother-in-law Don Hahn. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
