Linda Lee Prunty Obituary
We are sad to announce that on November 2, 2024, Linda Lee Prunty of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, born in Davenport, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilbur Wendt and Aylene Wendt (Neely); her husband Rex Prunty; her daughter Elizabeth Prunty; her sister Judy; and her grandson Taylor Prunty.
She is survived by: her children, Penny Hall (Lance) of Asbury, Lisa Wirtner (Todd), Vern Prunty (Marty) of Cedar Rapids, Jeff Prunty (Karin) of Jackson and Bob Prunty (Laurie) of Lake; and her sister Sharon York. She is also survived by 22 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service (520 Wilson Ave SW, Cedar Rapids, IA 52404). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family for a memorial fund that has been established in Linda's memory.
