He was predeceased by: his parents, Rudolph Sr. Michalec and Frances Michalec (Bammert). He is survived by: his wife Linda L. Hartman; his son Gene Michalec (Darla Edgington); his grandson Joshua Michalec; his brother Rick Michalec (Kathy); and his brother-in-law Bob Hartman (Diann). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
