She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest D. Buchheister and Rosa D. Buchheister (Martell); her husband Louis P. Stramel; her siblings, Gail Edwin Buchheister, Ruby Cornish (Douglas Cornish) and Don "Bucky" Buchheister; her nephews, Christian, Brett and Ben Cornish; and her niece Cynthia McBride.
She is survived by: her sister-in-law Bea Buchheister. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at 1844 1st Ave NE, Cedar Rapids, IA 52402. A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
