With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Laura Schappert of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, who passed away on September 16, 2023 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, George Kinsel and Rosena Kinsel; her husband Arnold Schappert; her son Brian; and her siblings, Fern, Juanita, Carl, Diane, Orville, Viola, Verla and Faye.

She is survived by: her son Darrin Schappert (Angie).

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to CrossLife Community Church.
