It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Larry Reeve of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, who passed away on April 1, 2024, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Larry Reeve to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George A. Reeve and Emma Louise Hoopes (Morris); his in-laws, Robert L. and Anna Caldwell; and his sisters-in-law, Barbara L. Caldwell and Judith Madden.
He is survived by: his brothers, Robert (Georgeann) of Leesburg, VA and Rex (Brenda) of Thornton, CO; and his brother-in-law Robert T. Caldwell (Helen Kudos) of Cañon City, CO. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, and many cousins.
In light of Larry's preference for no flowers, those wishing to honor Larry's life with a donation might consider a cause that reflects his love of nature: The Rocky Mountain Conservancy (48 Alpine Circle, Estes Park, CO 80517) or the Iowa Natural Heritage Foundation (505 5th Avenue, #444, Des Moines, IA 50309). Larry and Susan feel immense gratitude for the care he received at the Oldorf Hospice House of Mercy (315 18th Avenue, Hiawatha, IA 52233), which is another worthy consideration if one wishes to donate in Larry's memory.
